It is certainly building, this morning at 2am I was out in the garden and OMG you could cut the air with a knife. Have noticed that the humidity indoors has went up to above 65.

Just nipped out the back again and we have a heat haze, there is some light clouds to the SW at the moment.

I can't see the weather break here in Lanarkshire until about 4pm which is the usual for a good storm. Certainly have had a good look on the severe weather forcast on TORRO's site. :D:D:D

As long as it waits until after 2pm I will be happy, looks like a few of us could be having some serious fun today so good luck and stay safe.

Well that first system has just disappated so here we are on the road having our lunch:lol:

Heading back home as there is another cell kicked off 45 miles SE which seems to be moving in our direction.

Certainly Matt it would be great if these systems would merge and gives a good display. I think you are right about it being better later on.

Hi folks

This is really kicking off here at Lanark Racecourse, we have just watched 1 storm 10 miles N and on to storms 2 and 3 only I can't believe what is going on the wind direction has just changed and 2 systems have just merged and as I type from the car we are getting belted by hail.

Well this will be a great day as these systems are lining up one after an other.

Hope you guys are having fun, coz at last I am:D:lol::D:lol::D

Seen lightning stike displayed on scferic map near here but have not heard any thunder yet. Just had a layer of altocumulus so far that was a bit thicker earlier - now that the sun is out the seabreeze has kicked in from the North east, hoping for some convergence somewhere!

Very hazy, it is these kind of conditions I have nearly always known to produce storms. Think Matt might have a good view now as storms seemed to have fired up near Colwyn Bay area!

Darn... never made it to Colwyn Bay. My folks are there at the moment and say it is rather dull and cool.

Hot here in Staffs, now 30.1c and sunny. Some high cloud floating about.

Gill, some impressive radar returns over most of southern scotland at 2pm. Hope you have your camera with you on the road!.

Oh no! The sky is starting to clear here. Looked at GFS this morning which suggested best chance of storms here was overnight into tommorrow morning. Darn! Storms just to the East of here too.
