Matt the owner of the website asked me to remove the main site but keep the forums up and running. He also wanted the forum software upgrading and moving to something else.

As a consequence we are now running on the latest MYBB forums software. We have a customised theme which I put together a few nights ago. Unfortunately I was not able to migrate avatars or image attachments.

Members may experience some initial login problems. This should be fixed by clearing your broswer cache and especially cookies. You need to remove the old cookies as they may clash with the previous installation.

If there are any other problems, errors or other issues please post them here so we can try to fix them.

Ps. Please note I do not run the forums, I am just helping Matt out. He still runs the place along with TwistedGill. Anything relating to the running of the website and forums please contact them.

Bob.

Neil your computer has a virus, until you clear the virus completely you can not say it is the boards, a lot of users had login issues that were ressolved by going through the cookies and removing all the previous sites tracking cookies and on that have not had problems.

My advice is to get malware bytes removal tool and and throughly clear your system then try deleting all tracking cookies, failing that put a fresh system on your computer and start again.

RE: Attn: All Members
I can now login first time, Gill the programe Malware bytes worked but not fully, the virus you had would be still in your system hidding away from your security programes, like the virus / trojan i had, there is one way you can totally clear your computer, download a programe called Super Anti Spyware the free version update once installed, do a quick scan, then go to control panel, click repair and select each item and click repair, after this download ATF Cleaner which will clean out all the crap not just from your internet but from your computer, i got some of the information from http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic150156.html that helped me get rid of all trojans / viruses and adware, but remember to do a full scan with Malware bytes and your internet security suit after to make sure every thing has been cleared, the repair job will fix all files, memory and registery in your system, i would do this if i was you to be on the safe side...neil

RE: Attn: All Members
I usually would recommend running the scan when on safe mode then as normal, I would also recommend searching for anti malware specifically for the virus if it is persistant, in most cases Malware bytes does the job.

Trust me my computer is clean, I had a totally different virus that took a specific tool to get rid off and with the software I use I am well covered.
