Am sure many of you are already aware of the risk of some heavy snow at the end of the week. At the moment looks like the air is going to be cold enough for frontal rain to turn to snow quite widely.

I know how you feel acchos. From what I have seen it looks like N. England and Scotland are going to be the most at risk from any heavy snow. I have to admit, it is looking rather promising, fingers crossed.

Not had anything here yet, but it is about -3 at the moment and the sky is clear, I doubt that we will get anything. The moon is very low on the horizon it is a great night for star gazing:rolleyes:

Just checked met office site and they are predicting anything up to 6 inches here, this would be the most snowfall here for at least 17 years to my memory, really looking forward to this one.
The disruption risk here is 70% so looking positive at the moment.

I think there is still some uncertainty though, I put money on this thing tracking further to the north. Should be fun though!!!

Certainly cold enough out there tonight. Already -3.5C outside and it's not even midnight yet, which is good going for a mild place like Anglesey. Daresay some people will be unprepared for any disruption - as usual!

Temperature sunk to around -6 here before sunrise, I've seen -5 a few times since 2000 including last March. All the weather site servers are jamming up - not because of the cold but the amount of people looking at the forecasts! Hopefully Dorset will get some Lethalman, although it's not in the area of highest risk.
